Jonathan, here. I can’t make it to the meeting today as I have the flu.
However, there is a bit of news to take care of. PussInBoots posted about Indy Comic Week, which sounds pretty cool. Also, there is the Jinx arts and crafts fair, where we could have a booth to sell comicky greeting cards and such.
But more immediately, despite our best efforts, a few pieces in the show have fallen down and need to be rehung. And three of the pieces that fell, belonging to one artist, were found to be objectionable by the crew of the Black Drop and Teri has requested that we replace these pieces.
I apologize for not scrutinizing them more closely before hanging and suggesting that different art be submitted. But the Drop is an all ages establishment with a good image that they’d like to uphold, so I do think it best if we accommodate their wishes in this matter.
If you’re curious as to who’s pieces I’m talking about, just ask politely in private conversation.
The Black Drop is storing the fallen artwork in the back room.
Thank you!

I was there on Sat. and I saw only one piece that was objectionable fall. The other ones were fine. I hung up the other pieces( which were phil’s btw. I should have called, but I honestly forgot.
Sounds good. I got a communique from Teri directly that indicated more fell. I might have read it wrong, though.
Did you see which part of the hanging mechanism failed?
