I just recieved an email from the guy running the convention and he says they have sold out of tables…
On Monday I will be returning everyone’s money.
This is very sad annoying news.

Well, in all honesty, it’s their loss. We reach out to the public every week, by meeting in a central location. By having us there, they would have better legitimized the event.
However, we can still show our support by showing up as guests and participating. I’ll see if I can come up with a small stack of B.S. of Comics business cards that members can carry around or something.

Yeah…I think its crap…most of the tables they sold were to seattle companies…perhaps they should have held it in seattle then…sorry this is me being annoyed about the whole thing…I’m not sure I’m going to go…I go to conventions to see artists and art, the guests and booths are not enough to draw me to this convention.
Sorry I wasn’t at the last meeting! I was sick then.
But please hold on to my $15. If we do the Jinx event, it might go toward that; you can pay me back the difference if there is one.
