Diamond Comic Distributors is going to sleep for a week at the end of December. Tiptoeing around its slumbering arse like an Odysseus in the night, or a Goldilocks in the day,* Indy Comic Week will fill Wednesday not with oiled up mainstream titles, but the sweaty fruits of indy labor!

You don’t have anything better to do than finish a new comic specifically for this purpose.  (I promise, I’ve seen you.) This should be our anti-New Year’s goal, to be fulfilled before this year runs away crying from all the repeated abuse and semi-toxic cafeteria food.

Someone was talking about another 24-hour comics binge. Perhaps we can do it with the intent to bind and publish our crap masterpieces and distribute it that golden last Wednesday of 2009.

However you finish your offerings to the Goddess of Opportunism, good luck with it, and have fun!

* I guess it just depends on whether we plan on poking out their eye with our comics, or using our comics to shovel all their porridge into our greedy gullets.

We need to design the favicon for the B.S. of Comics site! Now I could do that myself, but how about we have a few submissions.

Make something cool and put it in the comments, then I’ll post them all as sort of a poll later on and we can vote on them. Or we can just decide by consensus in the comments.

I believe they’re something like 16×16 pixels. But just make it a square of some larger size and I can reduce it.
